The details, made clear
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Outxie handles information when you explore places, sign in and use your planning notebook.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Information used by the planner
Your notebook can contain outing preferences, destinations, dates, group size, budgets, actual costs, itinerary stops, checklists, notes, travel details and cover photos you add. Saved places and app preferences are also stored so you can return to them.
If you use personal planning, we also store your planning brief, contact preferences, consultation answers, feedback, call schedules and outcomes, service tasks, service dates, messages, draft itineraries, approvals and the history of changes. Your assigned Outxie agent and authorised administrators can access this information to deliver the service. Internal team notes are kept separate from your customer conversation.
If you sign in with Google, we receive the account identifier and basic profile information made available for sign-in, such as your name, email address and profile image. Outxie does not receive your Google password. Requests to the site also expose technical information such as an IP address, browser details, request time and requested address to our hosting infrastructure.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to run the planner, recognise your account, save and retrieve your content, sync saved plans when signed in, remember preferences, respond to support requests and keep the service secure and working. The current app does not include advertising trackers or sell your planner information.
3. Browser storage and cookies
Outxie stores plans and preferences in your browser, including when you use it as a guest. This information can remain after you close the page or sign out. Clearing Outxie’s site data in your browser removes local copies and preferences; it does not automatically delete information already synced to your account.
Sign-in uses essential cookies to maintain your session and protect the sign-in flow. The account session cookie is configured to expire after 30 days, and temporary sign-in state expires after 10 minutes. Blocking cookies or browser storage can prevent sign-in, saving or other features from working.
4. Service providers
Cloudflare hosts and delivers Outxie, and handles email sent to Outxie addresses. Google provides optional account sign-in. Resend delivers the email Outxie sends you, so it handles the address it is sent to and the content of that message. Account records and synced plans are held in a managed PostgreSQL database.
When you take a paid plan, a payment provider processes the transaction and your payment details. Outxie does not receive or store your full card number, and the provider is named at checkout. These services process information needed to perform their roles and may operate infrastructure outside your country. Their own privacy notices also apply: Cloudflare, Google, Resend, and the payment provider’s notice, which is shown at checkout.
5. Shared plans and external links
A shared plan link contains an encoded copy of the plan; encoding is not encryption. Anyone with the link can read or forward the content it carries. Exported PDFs can also be copied and shared. Review your notes, travel details and photos before sharing, and do not include passwords, identity documents or payment credentials.
Deleting or changing your saved plan does not retract previously shared links, downloaded files or copies held by other people. Links to venues and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
6. Retention and security
Local content remains until you remove it or clear your browser’s site data. Personal-planning requests, conversations and their change history remain available after the service period ends, unless removed following an applicable deletion request. Synced plans and account records are stored to support your account; signing out alone does not delete them. Operational logs and backups may have separate retention periods. We use protected connections and access controls, but no online service or storage method can guarantee complete security.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse without signing in, edit your plans, remove saved outings through the available controls, and clear local browser data. Check that changes have synced before closing the app. You can also manage Outxie’s connection in your Google account; removing that connection does not itself erase data previously saved with Outxie.
For access, correction, account deletion or other privacy requests, email plan@outxie.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. The rights and exceptions available to you depend on applicable law; you may also contact your local data protection authority.
8. Children and policy updates
Outxie is a general outing planner and is not intended to collect personal information from young children independently. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us. If our data practices change, we will update this page and its date, and provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
