A sanctuary of forest and savannah on the Kumawu ridge, with a waterfall, a bat cave and a rock formation the local guides will point out, and very few visitors.
The local tip
This is not a safari. It is a quiet walk in real forest with a good guide, and the waterfall is at its best in the wetter months. Take water, because there is nowhere to buy any.
Check before leaving
Confirm access and guide availability with the Wildlife Division in Kumawu or Kumasi. The access road is rough in the rainy season.
