Name the activity you want
Tell the host whether you want to observe, try a technique or make something to take home. Those are different visits and may require different time and materials.
Ask what a beginner can realistically complete in the session. Don't promise children a finished object before checking.
Separate the fees
Confirm the workshop charge, materials and any optional purchase. Ask whether the fee changes with group size. Buying from the shop should not be an unspoken condition of a paid demonstration.
Check photography and filming permission, especially if you plan to publish the process online.
Plan for the finished work
Ask whether it needs drying, special packing or collection later. Make sure that fits the rest of your trip. If you commission something, agree on the specification and delivery terms separately.
Use Ntonso Adinkra Village or another craft destination to shortlist the setting, then arrange the actual maker and session. Record the confirmed activity in your plan so the group arrives expecting the same thing.
Rules, fees and opening hours change. Confirm anything that matters before you rely on it.
