Ask these questions before a birthday venue deposit

Confirm the total cost, food rules, decorations and cancellation terms before paying for a birthday outing venue.

Get the total for your actual group

Ask for a written quote showing the date, guest count, reserved area and duration. Confirm taxes or service charges where applicable and distinguish admission from a minimum spend.

Find out what changes if fewer people attend. A per-person headline price may depend on a larger booking than yours.

Check the celebration details

Ask whether you may bring a cake, decorations or outside food, and whether any fee applies. Confirm music arrangements rather than assuming you can use your own speaker.

If you need a particular table layout or sheltered space, get that included in the booking confirmation. A general venue photograph doesn't reserve the area shown.

Understand what the deposit commits you to

Request cancellation, date-change and weather terms before paying. Check the recipient through the venue's official contact and keep the confirmation. Outxie does not collect or hold the venue's payment.

Record the booking reference in a private note and put only the details guests need in the shared plan. A saved place or a conversation with a salesperson is not the same as a confirmed reservation.

Rules, fees and opening hours change. Confirm anything that matters before you rely on it.
